Cisco's push into the telco world involves more than just infrastructure?it's targeting the client side as well. The King of the Internet plans to ship in the second quarter a new line of IP telephone handsets that incorporates hands-free audio technology from Polycom. The new handsets will be the first devices to come out of the five-year joint development agreement Cisco and Polycom announced last October.

Not likely at all. The group which selects these Dow component stocks feel they already have plenty of tech with HP and MSFT. They tend to act in a very delayed reactionary fashion. My guess is that CSCO will be added as a Dow component, but not until it passes a 1 Billion market Cap.
