Voltaire,

<V reaches for the Lonworks remote control to figure out why the lights are getting brighter inside the porch...>

The little light bulb above my head is beginning to get brighter.

I see I may have been looking at this picture from the wrong side. Until now, I have been thinking I had to try to maximize my portfolio growth by being aggressive. I find I keep jumping onto what I believe is going to be the next QCOM... I toy with the idea of "Buying" Covered calls to help me leverage my way up...

I've been thinking that I must amass a huge pool full of money/stocks inorder to make the largest leap up to the point where I can begin effectively begin utilizing options trading.

Are you suggesting I use covered call writing as a method of building wealth? In otherwords do I use my tiny nest egg to safely build a giant nest egg over time?

Am I exposing myself to too much risk by simply letting my stocks ride in a "Buy and Hold" manner?

Would it be a good idea to consolidate my basket of a many stocks, down to 2 or 3 favorites and then use covered call writing to build wealth?

Is the light bulb burning brighter?

<That shows one how safe CC writing is because it is about the only Option play the Houses will allow in an IRA.>

Voltaire,

Was reading your "Cover Call Strategy 101" when I came across your statement of above. Please let it known I am able to write not only CC's but even options with Muriel Siebert & Co. in my IRA Rollover account.
