GM/Ford/ORCL/CMRC are "gentrifying" the auto~parts market place, seems the internet has totally captured the imagination of the greatest "realists" and users of raw materials, of the modern Industrial world. But all those "Bears" new that of~course!

On a sorta related note, Ford has been out front and shown it's ability to change before the other US automakers for awhile now. Since the introduction of the "radical Taurus" in the 80's to the aggressive aquisition strategy of the 90's (Jaguar, Volvo, etc.) and spin off of Associates First Capital, Ford has impressed me as being relatively nimble for the size of the corporation.

I "doubled up" on my Ford holdings last week at 41 and some change. On Friday I heard an analyst on CNN/fn say Ford should be an easy "double" from here. I agree 100%. F was trading at $65 last year and has been mercilessly beaten down to these levels. With Ford's announced intention to spinoff their Visteon Autoparts Unit later this year, I see way more upside potential from here than down.

IMHO,
