There are some on SI who were threatening Greenspan with physical harm after the first interest rate hike. Every time Greenspan says anything in the least negative about the market, they get angrier. The contrast between the bears, who call Greenspan "Easy Al," and the bulls, who have nastier names for him, is one of the more intriguing aspects of the sociology of this Bubble phenomenon.
