Question on LEAP symbols to anyone with answer.

I am trying to enter WWO JAN 90 CALL (as vanguard shows it, on my Yahoo Finance track sheet).
It will not accept this, nor will it accept WWO AR or variations.

Is there a way to do this, or does Yahoo just not support leap symbols.

In that scenario, you don't have 10 shares. You have 5 because you have lent 5 of them to me. If you want to vote, I have to cover.

That is my guess but I would be interested to find out the real answer !

Mohamed re: short positions:

I think your questions are interesting and I have one more to add. In your example, are the shares that John Doe bought available for borrowing?

I think the whole short squeeze thing is a side issue but a very interesting one.
