True but they don't always indicate the source of their changes in direction. Try plotting AG's interest rate rises on the same chart - you will find a close correlation... AG uses all of his spin doctoring to explain his interest rate hikes but in truth they have one basic purpose - to increase the value of the US dollar in relation to (and to gain a competitive advantage against) all the other world currencies including gold. When asked last week about the plight of the US rural sector he dragged out all the tired old excuses like the Asian collapse, overproduction and NEVER ONCE even mentioned the real problem - an overly strong US dollar caused directly by his interest rate policy!
