mark - While I still haven't heard Angels of Harlem in its entirety (I'll have my 13 year old find it and download it onto his napster files that have been consuming my hard drive), the sample I listened to does have a ring of like a rolling stone to it. I'll have to hear the whole song before I can render an opinion of whether it's a "complete ripoff".
But La Bamba??? I agree - I can't hear the slightest resemblance.

mark - I found an odd copy of Angel of Harlem on the napster library - just vocals and acoustic guitar. It seemed to me that the song was lifted from a couple Dylan tunes - at one point I thought I was listening to The Mighty Quinn.
