In addition to my post, I forgot to point out that the last two weeks have met the criteria in the formula I provided.

Again, that did not happen once in the 90's. Not once.

If nothing else I regard it as the cross the bow shot warning us of something much bigger to come.

Good analysis Michael...

I'm using the 1990's because that's when the new era of technology/productivity dominance began to dominate... I agree that the 200 day MA has been a yardstick for many years... I'm using it but on the weekly chart... The bounce in the Dow today seems to be hinting at support in this area... Abbey Joseph Cohen is now saying that the S&P 500 is undervalued... I still think it has about another 100 points on the downside... The New Lows are overpowering the New Highs... That could be the monkeywrench for more downside...
