C'mon guys, we're here to talk about the War on Drugs.

Sugar is not cocaine. Psychiatric drugs are not heroin. MSG is not angel dust.

You guys can outlaw sugar if you want, but it'll be over my dead body. Coffee and a donut is a Constitutional right.

I had a girlfriend once who avoided sugar like the plague. She would never tell me why, but it was a real pain in the ass because there were very few restaurants where she was willing to eat.

After a year or so, she fessed up: Sugar made her fart.

"Honey", I said, "you can eat all the damned sugar you want. But please, PLEASE, I'm begging you, lay off them black beans."

Rats. I said I wouldn't post, and now I am.

I can't help it.

I'll be real brief on this.

You are right. I am wrong. I must have been living in the Dark Ages.

I didn't know that "hundreds of millions" of people had been "helped" by psychiatric drugs! I didn't even know that hundreds of millions of people had ever even been in contact with a psychiatrist! I don't know anything about psychiatry or psychiatric drugs. I'm a leaf in the wind.

But you have made your point. You have opened my eyes. It's easy to see the wonderful things that have happened to those hundreds of millions of people in the last 100 years because of the psychiatrists and their incredible therapies.

All I have to do is look around and I can see it! I must have been blind! Schools, workplaces, shopping malls...hundreds of millions of people on psychiatric drugs (according to you) that are now better off than before. The psychiatrists are the saviours of your planet! I can see it now!

That's the kind of help we all need. I think we should ALL be on mind altering drugs! It's obvious to me that this brilliant profession that invented all the other treatments for mental illness that have had such a positive effect on your planet should really be allowed to drug everyone.

I think maybe these doctors are so smart that pretty soon they will be able to administer mind altering drugs for unborn children that kick too much. Get to 'em before they are two years old, that's what I say. By two years old, it's too late.

Oh, and one more thing. Your assumption that I am ignoring these people? That's true too. I don't care about them at all. They are nothing. Just pieces of animated meat. I've never done anything to help them, because I am not a psychiatrist. And since I am not a psychiatrist, I guess I never will. I understand that now, thanks to you.

I have to go now. I need to make an appointment to see my new doctor so he can prescribe some mind altering drugs for me. I'm taking the whole family, too.

My youngest son is 4, I know it might be to late to turn him into a mindless zombie that believes drugs cure mental illness, but I have hope.

I know the psychiatrists know what they are doing and they would never lie to you. I mean me.

I'm feeling much more like a psychiatrist already, actually. I think I'll stop by the gun shop on the way home and get a few automatic weapons so I don't have any trouble from The Unbelievers.

Thanks again for all the help!
