John, thanks, I looked at the web site for Dimensional Investors. Dimensional's board and management, with only two Nobel Prize laureates, are pygmies alongside the VIPs profiled on the GMGC web site.

I am not concerned over the long haul either. I'm too close to all this because it is what I do. So I too often see obstacles created that ar enot neccessary. I have had difficulty in getting IR to return my calls. I have gotten some defensive responses when I have asked pointed questions. The list of questions I posted on RB was a list I was prepared to ask IR. I called, left a message re what info I wanted in general, and did not get a return. I believe that IR typically does a good job. I could push it on my own, but I enjoy working with groups and tend to get more done that way. If my approach doesn't work perhaps someone elses will. Maybe someone else can think of better ways of asking the same thing, or think of better things to ask. As a byproduct, I'd like to move the threads more toward focusing on what to ask and how to get the information and who will get the information. We do a good job of providing support, I'd like to go for more analysis and synthesis, lets answer some questions and then agree upon what we know, then move on to teh next question. The threads take so much time, I'd like them to be as useful as possible. Forgive me for trying to push for what I want...But I've found that if you don't ask for what you want, you get what you deserve. So, I'm laying out what I want, will try to lead a bit to get it, then will back off if the group doesn't respond.
