Barry: I cannot buy into the idea of Microsoft using any Athlon product. First, they will demand quality, volume production and excellent yields of whichever processor they use. They will not bet on AMD. Cripes, AMD may not even be a viable company one year from now. When the smoke clears it will be a punched up PIII, with a big Cache and a certain memory configuration which can really make that engine hum. Any guesses on which memory configuration Intel might recommend to Microsoft?
