Challo,

Are you dis-satisfied w/Jammer? Or just wanting to compare?

I installed the zonelabs program today and shut out a few probes of my machine already. I also had FredE try to ping me and the software rejected it. The software seems compatible with both ICQ and Yahoo IM. At the moment, the biggest problem is that it blocks a connection to the net from my other networked computer. Working on that.

I believe the zonelabs program would becompatible with a dial up connection. If you don't have a static IP address, however, the danger of a hack is not nearly as great as if you had a cable modem or DSL. I suppose it's not a bad idea to have a barrier in place, regardless of whether you have an always on connection or not.
