Calypso:

Thanks for the reply.

I'm test driving Zone Alarm right now, and it seems to work fine. It shut off a few probes shortly after I installed it that were not picked up by NukeNabber. I had a friend try to finger and ping me, and it rejected both attempts. Right now, I'm having trouble with the program's restricions on outbound traffic. It does not seem to want to allow my other networked computer to communicate with the internet, which is a significant problem. ICQ seems to work fine, although Yahoo IM does not work unless the security setting is set to medium.

I'll run this for a week or so to evaluate, but if I can't get it configured to allow both my computers to access the internet, I'll dump it and buy BlackIce.
