DLJ currently recommends CPQ with a 12 month price target of $45. Does anyone believe this?

Captain.... It is amusing how one can present figures..all accurate enough. For instance the IBM sales team increased sales by $310 M in 1999 compared to Dell team which sold $86M. IBM accounted for 25% of the total increased sales of almost $1.25B, including the "OTHERS" category. Dell got 7%. The "OTHERS" category as you mentioned was over 6 times Dell sales. Given the $812M sales in the OTHER category one wonders if there might not have been a foreign firm in there with sales as high as Dell's.

Ted
