I never said they were contrarian indicators. i never said they weren't smart... (some have enormous egos, but that is beside the pt) I said in order for a crash to be the real deal (1998 obviously wasn't... LOOK where we are now? it was just another one of the many corrections), they must be looking the other way.. so far, they were caught looking the wrong way every day for the last two weeks. When they were looking up, the mkt turned DOWN on them, and vice versa... sometimes even intraday.. several times. The point is that the mkt volatility is getting worse and worse as we approach osme sort of inflection and those who only know how to chase the herd will get destroyed by the very herd they seek to chase...(that's what those guys do.. they're not investors. all they are interested in is where the s-t trend is and they hop on) that's why all clowns eventually get destroyed...
