Dennis - i think it was an XKE, though it might have been an XK - I don't know that much about cars, but I know what I like and both styles rank high with me.

I was a little disappointed that the Beach Boys movie didn't delve too deeply into the musical influences of the group - nothing about the influence of Chuck Berry on Surfin' USA, for example.

But it sure captured the excesses of the sixties (I remember them well, which of course means I wasn't really a part of them, according to Paul Kantner). I hadn't been aware of how strong the involvement with Charles Manson was, for example. And from the movie's perspective, it was clear that Brian Wilson's mental problems predated his use of drugs. So, if an accurate movie, pretty educational.
