Christine, although I despise censorship, I don't think that things have grown as appalling as you seem to think that they have. If the standards seem to be unfairly applied, it may well be because, for the most part, a posting is called to the admins' attention; they don't and can't monitor every posting. Considering that nihil is still with us despite some of his less temperate postings, it seems to me that there is a positive effort to be understanding of context and to give members the benefit of the doubt. JMO.
