Takasago has quickly begun to line up LONWORKS installations in Japan. Its first project will be an automated control system for air conditioning equipment in the Koraku 1-chome Mori Building, a 19-story office building located in Bunkyo-ku, Tokyo. The 43,251-square-meter building is scheduled for completion in March 2000. This is the first full-scale LONWORKS climate control system to be installed in a large office building in Japan.

Royalty game ? - that's a million dollar question, I suspect not.

I think you should be looking at large housing and commercial projects as an indicator. These projects are much more complex and require extensive project management and cost control with hind sight of future Maintenance costs. Walmart and Home Depot type of installation are some of the cheapest/easiest and Quickest forms of construction. That's probably one the reason, why they have Branched out in large numbers and Why they are very profitable companies.
