its a pretty trivial thing to trick the browser into thinking it's been to a page. one way to do it: If you need a hint use my 'hot' page as the basis.....

Hi Bryan, "Marking posts as "read" is actually a browser thing, not an SI thing. " I'm not concerned with how my browser keeps track of already read links, what I'm concerned with is SI's Inbox and subjectmarks accurately reflecting the fact that I've read posts through 10-at-a time. Posts to me still show up in the inbox count and unread list even after I've read them through 10-at-a-time. Subject marks had a similar same problem in the past, I can't tell if that's been fixed recently.
