I am glad we agree on so much. I must admit, though, I have no guilt re the U.S. being SuperCountry.

I am a little confused by your view of history in Iran. On the one hand you fault the U.S. for its role in facilitating the rule of the Shah. But then, you fault the U.S. for NOT intervening when the Ayatollah came to power I think we can be guilty of one of those things but not both.

Re westernization -- not unique to Iran, especially in urban areas among secular people with decent incomes and education.

Re "plots" and NWO -- I don't believe plots on that scale are even possible. I DO believe there is a common mind-set among those who went to better schools in the sixties and early seventies and now have so much influence in so many governments. The Kosovo thing showed this crowd running amok!

I'm off to Attorneyland. Catch up with you later --

M

<<Just wait until the UN begins meddling in our affairs.>>

You weren't watching when US soldiers began wearing UN uniforms? Or, when the entire US military began operating according to UN directives?
