scotty, if China got serious about invading Taiwan one can probably expect some turbulence in the markets. this is one war that shouldn't be bought.
a close eye should be kept on China...who knows, it may be nothing but the usual sabre-rattling, but if things were to heat up the first obvious problems would be the WTO accession and Taiwan's semiconductor fabs. the question is what would happen if the U.S. start to intervene, which seems likely at this point. remember the threats emanating from China that they will brook no interference...
