Second Fiscal Quarter 2000 Results Show Revenues Up 100% Over Second Fiscal Quarter 1999

SAN DIEGO, Calif.--(BUSINESS WIRE)--Feb. 28, 2000--Interactive Telesis Inc. (OTCBB:TSIS - news), a leading provider of high-capacity interactive voice response (IVR) services, announced today its financial results for the second fiscal quarter ended January 31, 2000 (Q2-00).

Unaudited revenues for Interactive Telesis Inc.'s second fiscal quarter were $1,112,985 with earnings of $205,749. This represents an increase of 100% over the company's revenues of the second fiscal quarter (Q2-99) of 1999. Q2-00 revenues of January 31, 2000 reflect a 7.3% decrease in revenues from the company's Q1-00 first quarter ended October 31, 1999 resulting primarily from the seasonal nature of the company's Digital Record & Replay services provided to the teleconferencing industry.

The six months ended January 31, 2000 represent an increase in revenue of 127%, with earnings of $525,679, representing
earnings per share of approximately 1.7 cents per share compared to a loss of ($139,903) for the same period in 1999.

These financial results are exclusive of the impact of the company's recent majority ownership purchase and financial
relationship with Paragon Voice Systems. Paragon's actual financial results will be included in Interactive Telesis' next quarterly financial report, since Paragon's fiscal quarter ended prior the acquisition of Paragon by Interactive Telesis. However, consolidated pro-forma financial information will be included in this quarter's report to the SEC.

``Interactive Telesis has continued a solid financial performance into the second quarter for our fiscal year 2000. We intend to build upon this strength with a strategic commitment to developing and integrating automated speech recognition (ASR) technology as a core services component for our current and future customers,' said Donald Cameron, president and CEO of Interactive Telesis. ``With a focus upon ASR, our business performance will likely remain at these levels over the next 2 quarters reflecting the accelerated growth of our development and network infrastructure capabilities. With a fully integrated set
of network, hosting, and development services, Interactive Telesis is positioning itself to offer solutions that are comprehensive and flexible enough to meet the growing demand for deployment of speech recognition applications.'
