by relieving the oversold conditions we're setting up for more downside imo...the put/call ratios are supported by anecdotal evidence as well. everybody's bottom fishing it seems. notice how they wheeled out Abby this morning to state how undervalued stocks now are? i'm surprised she didn't boost the GS stock allocation...

Michael Watkins: Actually I was watching the Oct low for resistance, but it only makes since for the Dow to be moved up back above 10K. If you want to draw folks in, you got to do it. The bungie cord rebound. Let's see if it holds above... NASDAQ just beginning to gather momentum from its bungie jump...<g> I am still thinking like a criminal...opposed movements of the NYSE and NASDAQ, rotating rotation seesaw decline!
