OK, guys, let's run today's trading through the smell-o-meter. Let's prep the machine by recalling this (see date): "The company also announced that its board of directors has approved a 2-for-1 split of its common stock to be effected in the form of a 100% stock dividend, to be distributed on March 15, 2000 to shareholders of record as of February 28, 2000." Does selling today entitle one to partake in the split? Or is the drop designed to wipe out stops and move shares into fresh hands? BV
