3Com Corp., Samsung Elec In Wireless Network Devt Pact SANTA CLARA, Calif. -- 3Com Corp. (COMS) and Samsung Electronics Co. (Q.SSE) agreed to integrate their programs to deliver high-speed wireless data and voice networks for Internet, intranet and multimedia services. In a press release Monday, 3Com said the initial third-generation networks will enable mobile data services at speeds of up to 144 kbps and will focus on recently standardized cdma2000 network.
