PRESS RELEASE:MicroNetics Unveils
CDMA Channel Simulator

( BW)(LA-MICRONETICS)(NOIZ) Micronetics Demonstrates One Box
CDMA Channel Simulator and Noise Generator At CTIA Wireless 2000

Business/High-Tech Editors

Wireless 2000

NEW ORLEANS--(BUSINESS WIRE)--Feb. 28, 2000--Micronetics
Wireless, Inc. (NASDAQ/NOIZ) announced today that it will be
demonstrating the first integrated AWGN Generator and Multi-Path fading
simulator for CDMA applications here at CTIA Wireless 2000 in New
Orleans. The unit is targeted at J STD 018 PCS handset testing (1930-1990
MHZ).

The two main sources of signal distortion in wireless communications
systems are multi-path fading and noise contamination. The CNG-FS
integrates into one piece of test equipment, the automatic generation of
additive guassian noise for signal to noise ratio measurements and
communication channel simulation for inducing various fading and multi-path
effects on the transmitted signal. The CNG-FS will offer customers a
simplified, dedicated solution that is lower in cost, smaller in size and easier
to use than those currently available on the market.

Ralph Marrone, Vice President of Micronetics/Equipment, stated, "The J
STD 018 PCS model is the first of a suite of products for IS-97, IS-98, J
STD 018/019 and wireless local loop applications. Future models will cover
other frequency bands or multiple communication bands in one instrument.
Having both functions of noise and multi-path simulation combined into one
product eliminates the need for external supporting products to complete the
measurement. This allows the customer doing test for engineering
qualification or field trials to quickly and easily verify their product
performance. The CDMA Channel Simulator and Noise Generator is being
demonstrated here at the CTIA Wireless 2000 Show, at Booth 2635."

Based in Hudson, NH, Micronetics designs, manufactures and market
broadband test equipment and components used in the design, testing and
manufacturing of cellular, PCS, wireless local loop, home networking and
satellite communication equipment through its Micronetics/Equipment Group,
and manufactures microwave components and subassemblies primarily used
in test equipment, radar, electronic counter-intelligence, wireless
communications and electronic simulation applications through its
Micronetics/Components Group.

Statements in this press release contain forward looking material. Actual
results may vary due to a number of risks and uncertainties and should be
viewed in conjunction with Micronetics ' Annual Report for its fiscal year
ended March 31, 1999.
