James Strauss: Well I appreciate your point of view, we have had strong internet trading for over a year, heavy trading in internet issues, hi-tech issues and IPOs for over a year. I don't think that answers the sudden dramatic increase in volume toward the end of last Oct 99.

I think it has been price movement induced volume coupled with the usual associated talking head campaigns.

Just my take...<g>

The large increase in volume was also coincident with the heavy increase in margin since September.
