Isn't the last day of the month usally a cleaning out day for large traders who prefer to settle monthly accounts? Couple that with Leap Year Y2K fear and perhaps this could explain some of the downward action in the tech sectors. Anyone see the Summit at Silicon Valley with Tom Brokaw on MSNBC last night? Rumor has it there were lots of men and women in the audience looking for an on-stage billionaire with Fox scouts everywhere--LOL.
