konabound: Elon Markets: I don't have real grip on the industry from the inside, please don't mind me wanting to take a closer peek. Would you help with the following. but for some of the smaller sensor providers the cost factor can be important. The sensor providers might not benefit from the cost savings as much as the larger control companies will and the customer savings might not flow to the sensor provider. Would BACnet Solutions be more or less expensive than LonWorks Solutions in this market ? What proportion of the sensor market would the smaller sensor providers service. ? I understand that my market definitions are very broad here and you may want to help refine these. and In both the BACnet and the Lonworks case this would only be a problem if you were trying to interface two very different devices that would normally not have a reason for interface. does this happen a lot in the controls industry ?
