I've been told the same thing... but still painful to watch. However Msft has a whole host of issues: - DOJ - New Eupopean litigation - 50 states worth of litigation - Fighting with SUN for server market - Fighting with Linus for platform business - Fighting off Lotus for directory and Unified Messaging Markets - Fighting with COMS/PALM for handheld OS - Fighting with AOL/NSCP for browser/IM products - Fighting with RNWK for streaming media Much more too... they've got a lot of battle fronts. This would cause any normal business to go under just from the comptitive weight. The fact that MSFT churns out stellar earnings is both amazing and a testament to their size and execution. OG
