ITEC moving nicely on news:
SAN DIEGO--(BUSINESS WIRE)--Feb. 28, 2000--Imaging Technologies Corporation (ITEC: NASDAQ), a pioneer in the development of embedded digital imaging and controller solutions, today announced that it will expand its Controller Technology focus beyond its traditional ``Printer only strategy' and begin targeting other internet appliances.
ITEC is a recognized leader in this technology and has a long history of controller development for the printer, the first appliance to move from the PC onto the Internet. Printers today are communicating over the Internet events such as being out of toner. This creates a seamless series of events that automatically triggers the Printer to contact a preset Web Site, such as www.DealSeekers.com, that will be selling Toner. With no user intervention, an order for Toner or other consumable replacement is then placed to the site and instructions for which device to install the replacement into accompany the delivery.
ITEC is working with and or targeting OEM's of other new devices that may require Embedded Controllers such as digital copiers, digital duplicators, building controls, industrial controls and medical equipment manufacturers. This new wave of devices will operate automatically without human intervention and require technology for embedded controllers.
``ITEC will continue to expand its presence in Printer OEM segment but will leverage its expertise in controller technology to address these new markets,' said Brian Bonar, CEO, ``This is a trend that is gaining momentum as customers demand more seamless integration from there devices.'

Incredible volume the past few weeks.
