Sure, but that has nothing to do with McCain's rampant bigotry against religious conservatives.

John McCain's SC chairman graduated from Bob Jones. Prominent McCain backer Graham accepted their honorary degree. Neither criticized Bob Jone's views on Catholicism and McCain has no problem with that, never asking them to repudiate their affiliation with Bob Jones.

McCain wanted to speak at Bob Jones and there is no indication that McCain would have criticized them had he done so. None.

McCains's high dudgeon against Bob Jones is pure political artifice, as is his campaign. He is shameless, last seen in his model, Clinton/AlGore.
