Yeah.. I'm thinking about taking some profit here too.. Have we run our course here??? I was hoping for the 100 everyone was dreaming about. I guess I am too - but not too proud to make a buck.

Jack:

You may well be correct, and in fact today's volume and volatility have been anticipated by many posts here.

But the post on the PALM price at 26 7/8 hit SI at 2;48 pm, volume picked up and the price started to slide. The first post I saw on Yahoo was at 3:18 pm, and volume and selling picked up again. About 4.5 million shares traded between 2:40 and the close, and the majority that I saw going by were relatively small volume trades. Only 1 million in blocks over 10,000, so it looks like mostly retail investors were bailing.

There's no question that a bunch of the quote servers picked this 26 7/8 up at about the same time, I wonder if they activated the PALM symbol today? I've been punching it in for a few days and getting nothing, today was the first time Q-charts served up a bid/ask/trade price (all 26 7/8), and it wasn't until I took a second look that I noticed the trade dates as 2/98 on the time/sales window. Weird. Maybe they'll sort it out tomorrow.
