PS 2 is being released in Japan next week, but I think it's not released in the US till later in the year. That might be holding the stock back somewhat, but still . . . am I missing something? The stock looks good to me, but doesn't act like it.

Yes, but don't forget, the smaller the company, the less reliable is TA compared with FA. Charts can do all sorts of strange things on companies with small market caps - and often because of things no one knows about. In one case, a similar small company got hammered because two institutions found that they had to unload because the steep increase in the stock price had made the size of their holding above limits. This could not realistically happen in the large companies such as ERTS or SNE.
