I wonder about the exterminator guy, though. It sounds like he's more concerned about his job than his shareholders. If Microsoft wants to buy it and shut it down, and is willing to pay a high enough premium, why not?

My problem is, it's not really that funny. Failed humor is a lot worse than no humor. You know how it feels in a club when a stand-up comic tells a miss-by-a-mile joke and there's silence punctuated by a cough or 2? That's how this particular joke feels to me. It is what a 10th grader would have come up with. McNealy's high-priced minions should have advised him better on this one, IMHO.
