maybe one must have the classic option selected in the new, unimproved version?

I have a space in my user ID, tried bunching them together, that didn't work.

Trying it on two puters also. nothing, damn!

Go to Options under Preferences, you can select to use the Classic format for the new SI system. You can also choose where the cursor is located on new displays. What I dislike is the format of the portfolio display.
