Again, Mollie, you consistently misrepresent what I say so you can pose your dim questions that belie your glaring ignorance of the facts. And when I present the facts, you don't even bother to respond. That's what makes a discussion with you useless! If you don't get the facts right then what kind of constructive dissent can you possibly provide? Take this sequence for example. (Your statement) b) WCDMA (a next generation digital standard) IDC has received $70million from NOK, for R&D. It's not clear whether a recurring payments will accrue..... (My reply) In 1999, InterDigital entered into royalty bearing TDMA and CDMA patent licenses with Nokia, which are paid up generally through the project period, and provide a structure for determining royalty payments thereafter. (Your pouty reply) You will note I was referring to WCDMA, not TDMA, not CDMA!!! And what is WCDMA if not a formal version of one type of CDMA, itself a generic term. How can you say even attempt to weasel out of a flagrant mistake like that when the SEC filings is public available and both Nokia and IDC have publicly stated that the deal is for 3G only? Are you still going to maintain that the following questions are not stooopid? Will they collect against NOK? How will that affect their current relationship with NOK. Or how about this question which belies a basic ignorance of formal telecom standards and the relationship of those standards to international law.- Since NOK is already a QCOM licensee, why pay an additional fee to IDC? NOK is a licensee for 2G narrowband CDMA. NOK is not a licensee for 3G wideband CDMA. How can QCOM license 3G wideband CDMA along with 2G narrowband CDMA when the 3G specs are only 80% complete? DUH! Again, stop and think before you write. You're only embarrassing yourself. Normal people ask questions to get answers. You ask questions just so you can ask even more questions. LOL. What does that make you?
