I agree with your example completely. I don't know whether I have yet posted this story on this BB, but let me share with you some testimony I recently heard in a court case tried recently in Southeastern Idaho.

Two hunters were up in the Bitterroot Mountains last fall to hunt elk. At the end of the day they returned to their vehicle, which was parked on a road. The car wouldn't start so one of the hunters popped out his cellphone thinking he would call for help. No luck. They were out of cell range. In fact, they had to hike about 8 - 10 miles before they finally got close enough to a cell tower to place a call for help. People like this will be natural buyers for G* phones, in my opinion.
