Gus/Molloy:

Your disagreement with each other aside, both of you seem more knowledgeable than I on the subject matter at hand. So let me pose my layman's dumb question and let either of you enlighten me. Is it true that IDC has two problems:
1. CDMA in general (wide OR narrowband) still has a problem with acceptance (witness the on/off again situation in China) in relation to GSM.
2. Even with CDMA acceptance, QCOM has already won the day since narrowband CDMA seems to be the more accepted standard.

In other words, I am puzzled as to why I should invest in IDC (not knocking it, just researching it). Thanks in advance for your enlightenment!

:-)

Mollie-boy, you're on ignore so I can no longer read your muffled cries for more punishment. I'm a peacable chap so here's a parting shot:

What is the sound of Orckit rising?
If Orckit is one point of a wave, where is that wave?
If that wave is there, what are you doing here?
