Okay, okay, it was a curb. Actually, it wasn't even a bonifide curb, but rather a 3- to 4-inch stepoff in a poorly lit, poorly maintained entrance/exit. Can you say lawsuit? That's why I'm not saying too much about it. Just 'cause I couldn't get the hang (is that a pun?) of crutches, doesn't make me a klutz. I NEVER fall! NEVER!! I have never before broken a bone! (I'm practicing.) We all took turns wearing the pointy hat that afternoon. Remember when we were a coven? How's the hip? On the mend, I hope. Seriously. p.s. No matter how I spell "bonifide," it still lights up in red. I'm to lazy to get the dictionary or even go into WordPerfect. After all, I'm a cripple, you know.
