Notwithstanding the ongoing debate, this has got to be the best informed board on SI. Excellent job guys and gals!! One question for a non-tekkie: Do I buy IDC? And, if so, what's a good entry point? Thanks.

molloy "Several independent commentators are now predicting that large scale commercial 3G system rollout will be later rather than sooner, and is several years away. i would say there is a significant difference between "independent commentators" and the survey results of Strategis, et. al, wherein actual operators are interviewed relative to rollout timetables. If Ed Snyder at H&Q is one of your "independent commentators", then I have to wonder about any such comment by him. Given his recent comments regarding Qualcomm, Snyder's view appears too tainted by personal beliefs.
