So I hear, but I have never actually met someone are have first hand knowledge of anyone doing it.

The agreement that I have with my wife is that we will never have a margin call and that my trading will never have an adverse affect on our financial situation. My somewhat manic approach to finances is offset by her sane approach to finances. If I ever borrowed from a credit card to trade stocks, I would expect to hear from a lawyer as soon as she found out.

I would be interested in hearing first hand about people borrowing agains their house and credit cards to buy stocks.
