Gopher Broke:

Re: "So why not short Intel?"

Comment: If Intel relied soley on processors for their bottom line, one might make a case for shorting them based upon the changing landscape in the microprocessor segment that has taken place over the past 6 months...But Intel just has too many irons in the fire with their various Internet investments to short them in the near term!

Gopher - Re: "Incidentally, a lot of the money I am now investing in AMD I made by investing in Intel, starting back in 92. I sold all my Intel investment a couple of years ago following a presentation on Merced."

You sold Intel TWO YEARS AGO !!!

No wonder you are so flustered !!

Intel is UP 294% since in the past 2 years - $38 --> $112!!

And AMD is up a WHOPPING 25% - $30 -->$37.75!!!

You and Chuckles and KalKan all BLEW IT - BIG TIME !!!
