The following message from the RB WAVX thread perfectly illustrates why a lot of folks have left their stockbrokers and moved to the OLBs--who wants to argue with some asshole about a stock you want to buy with your own damn money? Anyway, here it is...

My Merrill Lynch broker called me today.

"Do you still have that WAVX" (that you didn't want me to buy)
"Do you know its over 35" (You didn't believe me did you?)
"Don't you think you migh want the profit?" (Ya, at like 800)
"What did you say they do again?" (Oh, just some internet thing)
"What is making it run?"
I said " How the hell would I know? I'm just some idiot with a POS stock you tried to talk me out of at 8/share!"

I'd heard about MS's interest in Satellite stuff a couple years ago thru a third party. But last I inquired about that project, the sat company had gone belly up. So I supposed nothing was occurring.

Now if this deal works out then I suppose its probably a good thing.
