Thanks golfingmom, I enjoy a good laugh first thing in the morning. Actually my potfolio has been doing quite fine and I have had an estimated return of 650 % over a two year period. My holdings include : Rex Diamond, Cree Research, Wind River Systems, Alternative Fuels, Global Thermoelectric, JDS Fitel, Cortex Pharmaceuticals, EMC, QCOM, InfoWave, and Dec. to Spring/Summer holdings in Aber. You can check the charts if you want. You've got to be kidding about using SI for due diligence when the entire internet is at one's disposal nowadays. I've been in the investment game for twenty years now and can look out for myself quite well thankyou. I bet you would have been right at home hunting alongside the likes of Teddy Roosevelt and getting in on the photo ops to show how many animals you were able to bag on one of your safari's. I have shot rifle since I was 16 but they are not for hunting but more for self protection of the homestead should any low life try to penetrate my fortress and harm my family or belongings. I live in the country so I know what foxes are - we regularly have them walk by our patio window. My property has a creek in the back and is regularly visited by ducks, geese, and kingfisher - I prefer to watch them than shoot them and that goes for the grouse, rabbits, and deer that frequent my property. I have two owls that live in my forest (a mature oak/maple/hemlock mix with the canopy top 60 feet above the forest floor)and I enjoy their presence without having them mounted on my basement wall. I do enjoy fishing Atlantic Salmon but will restrict myself to catching only one - the catch and release thing is a conservation myth because the mortality rate of an Atlantic Salmon caught on a fly has a greater than 50% chance of dying if it is released - one is better to keep it (the daily limit is one fish/day where I go) rather than to keep on fishing for the "big" one if you truly care about the future of the river's population. My wife and I have planted over two thousand trees (pine, spruce, oak) on another property that I own so I guess you could call me a tree hugger. By the way, what decision are you referring to that I did not make carefully - investment or lifestyle ? I hate to say it but I don't need ten strong men to kick your butt. You already did it to yourself. Cheers
