"Serial entrepreneur Jim Clark is venturing into new waters, teaming up with Tom Jermoluk, chairman of Excite At Home, and venture-capital firm Kleiner Perkins Caufield & Byers to sink $22 million into a Web site for teenage girls."

Hi Solid- There must be nothing to keep T.J. busy at Excite@Home. How wonderful that our Chairman of the Board is spending his time with non-ATHM, self-serving interests. When he said the phone was constantly ringing with companies wanting to team with Excite@Home, he was really cooking up ways to spend his money from selling ATHM shares. This is just wonderful. Talk about commitment. We've got Bell commuting coast-to-coast each day, and now T.J. focused on what he will do after he resigns as Chairman of the Board. It's no wonder we are having problems and sitting in the gutter. What we need is a little job dedication.

Ed

TJ-Kibu update:

news.cnet.com

"Teen site Kibu.com, backed by prominent Silicon Valley businessmen including Jim Clark, plans to shut down, CNET News.com has learned.
<snip>
Kibu was founded in 1999 and attracted a $22 million investment from Internet heavyweights Clark, former Excite@Home chairman Tom Jermoluk, and venture capital firm Kleiner Perkins Caufield & Byers."

Site looks to be down already. That really lasted...
