Dan, the church, or center as it is called, is much like the one you go to. People are free to clap, raise hands, and shout, if they want to but, no one looks down on those that do not choose to do the same. I have noticed though, even those that do not sing and clap during the music, are tapping their feet to beat the band. There is a certain format that is followed but, it is just for an orderly progression of the service, and has no specific ritual to it, except on the days communion is taken. It is not done every Sunday but, fairly often for the same reason you describe.

After the history of the Old Testament, I think that the New Testament is intended to be a guide book on how to be more like the Father. I can not imagine anyone not wanting to be more like Him.
