Paul, So many days...so little news, until today and the ending is right out of a movie! Suspenseful and totally surprising to me when it finally came out, hours past C&W's 48-hour time frame -- just great! IMO pcclf may dip, if not tomorrow, later in the week. One of the news releases I saw Monday was more analysis than news and ended with: buy HKT. It might be on the thread, don't know and ain't lookin'--I am not buying 8 -- buying IC.d and waiting for another good tip on a Hong Kong shell. When I checked The Hong Kong Exchange at noon, HK time, the market was up. Obviously, neither 8 or 1186 was trading, but, CWAHF was up 12-13%. Considering it lost over 25% this week, that was great to see. If you haven't heard of this one, read our thread -- I am (or was) really excited over its potential. Right now it is an empty shell, value $0, but Softbank bought it and we are sure Son will do good things with it. HK market may be very volatile for the next few weeks. Tom.com (the IPO) lists on the HKSE on 3/1 and monies will go out of a lot of the HK stocks to buy Tom.com. One of the reasons the HKSE went down during the past 10 days was because people were taking money out of the market to buy Tom.com thru the banks, prior to listing on HKSE. Now that I read that Tom.com was almost 700% oversubscribed, the money that probably went back into the HK market today will come out after Tom.com lists and everyone and their brother will be trying to buy it -- sending a lot of the tech sector down. That IPO will probably go so high (it is not much of a company, IMO) and then drop and lots of people will lose $$$ --- but not us! Until this is done, all of us will probably be nervous that Pfizer or Vodophone will come and try to buy HKT--just kidding! I am really up over Richard Li's conquest. It was a very fitting end to a few weeks of thinking we did, we didn't, and for sure then didn't when the News Corp $1B announcement came out, Li cancelled the announcement, and C&W's 48 hours came and went. I was sure all was lost. Then BANG C&W announces, 5 hours late, but... I have yet to read the specifics of the deal, but it must be better situation if pcclf price rises, at least back to were it was before this saga began. Does this post read like the mind of someone who has not slept in over 2 days? I think so, Merry This is overlong and I have not slept in 2+days (have sick animal who cries all night--he is at the vet tonight and I am going to SLEEP). Now that pcclf is taken care of hopefully CWAHF (if you don't know about it, look at the board) will have announcements soon and that will soar. Thanks for your note of appreciation -- I would be lying if I said it was for the board -- it was for me, first, the board second.
