Wondering if an individuals sole income is derived from capital gains, interest and dividends would he/she be forced to contribute to the pathetic Canada pension plan?

Best Regards,

Have a question re splitting up an RRSP.

Can I split up an RRSP between a full broker at firm A and a discount broker at firm B?
Obviously I would use the same SIN number <gg>.

1. Is that ok/legal
2. Any problems with accounting, ie getting rrsp deduction slips

TIA

Olga
