FNSR was an excellent example of the core position's discussed over the weekend and which I subsequently received some questions about. I entered this one four times before it really made it's move. The first time provided excellent trading but I was taken out several weeks later. I entered on a second strong buy and again made some good money on the trade before again getting taken out. The third time I was in and out in three trading sessions for little gain. The last situation was the "creeping" one I mentioned. I ended up getting a strong buy signal but at a price nearly $5 higher than I had exited at my previous sell. These situation are often very explosive and in the past 14 trading session the stock has risen $60. Additionally, four more strong signals were issued and I bought and sold position shares that were up $40 and $45 respectively, while day trading the stock numerous times after these signals occurred. Thought this might be of interest as it represents a good example of a recent core that did well, but had failed to run up like I'd hoped earlier. Interestingly, there are few core buys that I'm taken out of more than once let alone three times. Apparently the potential was there but time was needed to make buyers aware of it. Additionally, this is just another example of really putting your money to work in a stock that's moving up. Far too many folks spend their time and money making additional investments instead of focusing their time and capital in a stock that's performing well. Early in my investing career I wasted a lot of time and missed some great opportunities to make serious profits by taking too small a position in a good stock and then looking for other stocks to buy. When you have a good one running up, that's when you can really make some money if you wish to take advantage of it.
